We are looking for a Parts Runner to join our Hayward, CA Team!

Job Summary

To perform supportive duties for Operations, Maintenance, and Facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Below is a compilation of primary job duties and responsibilities for this role, supplemented by certain supportive tasks.   • Pick up, deliver, and unload construction materials to jobsites, construction yards, and stockpile locations in a timely manner.
  • Securely strap and/or tie down all materials to be delivered.
  • Create and post no parking signs on jobsites as directed.
  • Tow and deliver equipment to job sites, construction yards, and stockpile locations as needed.
  • Install, inspect, and maintain temporary SWPPP as needed.
  • Receive, sign, and process material receipts and pick tickets as required.
  • Provide general maintenance of construction yards and stockpile locations including sweeping and general cleanup.
  • Assist the shop in picking up tools and parts in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and clean material bunkers as directed.
  • Push and pull parts, materials and supplies for storing, delivering, and distribution.

Qualifications

  • Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certificates/Licenses: Valid driver’s license in good standings (must be 18 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle).
  • Computer Skills: Ability to use e-mail, mobile devices, and apps.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work well with others, independently and as part of a team.
  • Organization and Planning: Ability to work in a fast pace environment and remain on task. Dependable and reliable. Detail-oriented. Ability to meet deadlines. Must be able to take directions, and keep task lists.
  • Problem Solving: Able to work independently and use logic when making decisions.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
  • Hearing adequate to perform job duties in person.
  • Able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone.
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties and respond to dangerous situations.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, squatting, sitting, pushing, and pulling.
  • Manual dexterity to operate a keyboard and other electronic devices. Repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Able to safely ascend or descend step ladders, stairs, ramps, etc.
  • Adjust or move objects up to 20 pounds in all directions without assistance.
  • May work in areas where hazardous substances are present.

Salary

  • $20.87/hour – $27.16/hour
